Pep Guardiola creates history by winning Treble twice

Manchester City emerged victoriously over Inter Milan at the UEFA Champions League final and with this win, Pep Guardiola being the coach of Manchester City, as marked his name in the books o glory. Pep Guardiola has now become the first manager in the annals of European football to twice achieve the treble. This season, he contributed to City’s victories in the Premier League, FA Cup, and now the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola however invested a significant £1.074 billion to secure a UEFA Champions League title for Manchester City. Bringing in the like Erling Haaland, assembling a star studded squad of top class players, similiar to one he had in Barcelona, featuring the likes Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta.

Guardiola became the first manager in the annals of European football to accomplish the feat twice. In 2008–09, when FC Barcelona won the Champions League, La Liga, and Copa del Rey, he achieved his first treble. Guardiola has since surpassed Sir Alex Ferguson as the only manager in English club football to ever win a historic treble.

Additionally, Manchester City claimed their seventh FA Cup crown in a thrilling 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Wembley. It was the first-ever all-Manchester cup final, adding to the historic significance of the achievement.

The triumph over Inter Milan in the Champions League Final completed Manchester City’s remarkable Treble, solidifying this season as the most extraordinary in the club’s history.
