Top 5 players with most penalty goals in the Premier League 

5. Sergio Aguero – 27 

The Manchester City legend kicks off the list of the players with the most penalty goals in the Premier League. He is the club’s all-time top scorer with 184 strikes, the fourth-highest in the league. The Argentine is still regarded as one of the best finishers to ever play in England.

Mark Noble has spent his entire career at West Ham United, and has scored 62 goals in his Premier League career. The club captain has made 544 appearances, and is among the most efficient penalty takers in his team. 

3. Steven Gerrard – 31 

Steven Gerrard is regarded as one of the best midfielders to ever play for England, and in the Premier League. The Liverpool captain has scored 31 goals from the spot throughout his time with the Reds. 

2. Frank Lampard – 43 

Frank Lampard is the all-time highest scoring midfielder in the Premier League, with 177 to his name. He is also the midfielder with the most penalty goals in the Premier League. 

1. Alan Shearer – 54 

Alan Shearer is the all-time top scorer in the English top flight with 260 goals. Only Wayne Rooney, with 208 goals, has scored over 200 goals in the league. The former Newcastle United striker has scored 54 goals from the penalty spot, the most of anyone in the competition.
