It’s official! Paulo Fonseca is returning to Portugal to lead his boyhood club, Sporting Lisbon. Leaving Olympique Lyonnais, the 53-year-old takes over a squad currently sitting nine points behind leaders FC Porto. With Rui Borges out, Fonseca faces immediate pressure to close the gap. Can he turn their season around? His debut is set for November 7 against Moreirense. Game on!
