The 28-year-old Argentine forward Paulo Dybala’s journey in the Italian club Juventus is just going to end soon. While many top European clubs want to sign him, it is important to see Dybala’s preference for his next club.

Starting his senior club career for his youth academy side, the Argentine club Instituto, Paulo Dybala joined the Italian club Palermo in 2012 summer. After finishing the Italian Serie A 2014/15 season as the joint-most assist provider, the young talent Dybala joined Juventus in the 2015 summer.

Paulo Dybala in Juventus

In his long career in Juventus, Dybala appeared in 293 games where he scored 115 goals and assisted 48 times. While the Argentine won the Most Valuable Player award in the 2019/20 season, he has gone through some fitness issues in the last two seasons which affected his recent performances.

Though Dybala’s performance improved in the last season as he managed 15 goals and six assists in 39 appearances in the 2021/22 season, it wasn’t enough to impress Juventus for his contract extension. Dybala’s latest contract with Juventus will end this month.

Among the English Premier League clubs, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Dybala.

In the meantime, the Spanish clubs Barcelona, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are also very much interested in Dybala according to media reports. Even, Real Madrid can also join in this battle after their recent failure to sign top forwards.

On the other hand, the German club Borussia Dortmund and Juventus’ key domestic rivals Internazionale are also monitoring the present situation over this Argentine forward.

Paulo Dybala’s interest

So, Paulo Dybala can have many choices but he has recently clarified his recent target.

Talking about his club’s future, Dybala recently told ESPN, “I am quite calm, the people who work with me are taking care of things.

“In Italy, I am very comfortable. I would still like to know other leagues like Premier, Liga, but I’m happy in Italy. I’ve been there for 10 years, I know the tournament and now they treat me as if I were Italian.

“I am focused on the national team, I have to think with a calm head for my future. I have not decided anything, my agent thinks about it, I have to think about Argentina.”

So, according to his latest opinion, Inter have the best chance to win the fight for Dybala. But if Juventus change their mind at the last moment and bring a new offer for the Argentine, he can even consider the opportunity to stay in the club. However, according to the present situation, Juventus are unlikely eyeing for the contract extension with Dybala.

Now, the major point is that the clubs must have to set up the official bids for this Argentine footballer. So, this month is going to be very interesting for him.

Last Wednesday (1st June), Paulo Dybala scored a goal for Argentina in their 3-0 win against Italy in Finalissima 2022. It was his third goal for his senior national team, the first one since Copa America 2019.
