Paul Pogba has been offered a contract extension by Manchester United which involves a multi-year deal and an improved salary on what he currently has. The 28-year-old only has nine months remaining on his current deal with the club.
If he does not renew his contract, he will be able to walk out of Manchester United for free. The midfielder has attracted interest from PSG and could join them next summer. His former club Juventus are also a potential destination that the France international, so there are options for the player if he wishes to leave.
The Pogba transfer saga has been dragging along for several years now, with Mino Raiola previously stating that his client wanted to leave the club. However, things have now changed and it seems like Pogba could end up staying at the club.
The new deal Pogba signs could see him earn around €20 million per season, which is among the best in the Premier League. According to renowned transfer insider, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been pushing for the contract extension since July.
There is currently no answer from Mino Raiola and Paul Pogba yet, and it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will end up staying with the Premier League outfit.
If he does end up leaving, Manchester United have identified Franck Kessie of AC Milan as a replacement. The Ivorian will be available on a free transfer next summer and could be the perfect replacement for Pogba if he chooses to end his stay at England for a second time.
