Paul Pogba to Juventus only a matter of time – 4-year contract in place

Paul Pogba is all set to sign his contract with Juventus in July, when his deal with Manchester United officially expires. He has a verbal agreement in place with the Serie A side for a free transfer, and will return to them in just a matter of time.

The France international has agreed a four-year deal to return to Juventus, with a salary worth €8 million plus add-ons. According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder rejected advances from Manchester City to go back to Italy.

Only the final details need to be sorted out between Paul Pogba’s agents and Juventus before a total agreement is in place. But, things are progressing very positively and the move will be made official very soon.

Manchester United are clearing out their squad ahead of the coming season. Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard and Pogba have all left the club upon the expiry of their contracts this summer. The Red Devils are pursuing Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona as one of their top targets, but are finding it difficult to convince the Dutchman to make the switch over absence of Champions League football.

They have not been able to confirm any signings yet, but are pursuing multiple targets in the window as of right now. Jurrien Timber and Antony from Ajax are among the potential targets for Erik Ten Hag this summer. But, nothing has been finalised as of yet.
