Juventus will be without Paul Pogba for a considerable amount of time. The Frenchman suffered an injury to his lateral meniscus, which will now require surgery. He originally opted for conservative recovery, but has now chosen to surgically repair it.

This will require him to recover for at least six weeks, which could go up to two months. As a result, there is little chance that the midfielder will be available until 2023.

Paul Pogba to miss action until 2023 due to surgery

Following the news of his surgery, there is little chance that he will make it to the France national team for the 2022 World Cup. He was a part of the winning squad in 2018 in Russia. But his injury will cause him to miss out this year’s tournament.

Juventus signed Paul Pogba on a free transfer from Manchester United for the second time this summer. The midfielder injured his knee in training with the Bianconeri, which has pushed back his second debut with the club.

He returned to training on Monday for a brief session, but further scans have revealed that he will have to go for surgery. Juventus are also waiting on the return of Federico Chiesa, who suffered a serious injury last season and is still on the sidelines recovering.
