Paul Pogba could be open to joining another Premier League club once his contract with Manchester United ends. The midfielder’s contract runs out in the summer, and he has not agreed a new deal with the Red Devils just yet.
Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola appreciates the player, and could ask him to make the move across the city as well. However, there are a number of other suitors interested in signing the player too.
Paul Pogba open to other Premier League clubs
United signed Pogba for £89million in 2016, and he is still their record signing to this day. He is also one of the best-paid players in the Premier League, with a salary upwards of £200,000.
As a result, there are few clubs in the country that can afford to pay the salary of the midfielder. So, his options of potentially staying in England are limited. Across Europe, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and his former club Juventus are interested.
Paul Pogba is expected to evaluate all possible options including an extension at Manchester United before deciding on his future.
Despite struggling in the initial part of the season, the Frenchman has managed to find his best form under Ralf Rangnick once again. For now, he intends to stay focused on matters at Old Trafford before eventually settling on his next destination.
If he chooses to leave, Manchester United will have to turn to the transfer market to find a replacement in midfield, which is something that fans have been longing for.
