Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United was rumoured to be in the works, with the club working to offer him a new contract. However, the player has denied any such rumours to be true when speaking to the press. Here is what he had to say:

“I have one year left on my contract – everyone knows that. There have been no concrete proposals for extensions. I’m still in Manchester.

“After the season there was the vacation, so I didn’t sit down with the managers and coach. I’m focused on the Euro.”

He has also been linked with PSG in the past, since the French giants are one of the few clubs in the world who can afford to pay his massive wages in the current financial climate. However, he has denied any contact with PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi regarding a switch to his hometown.

“Contacts with Paris? I have an agent that deals with all that. I don’t have Nasser [PSG president Al-Khelaifi]’s number.”

“My only thought, now, is the Euros. I’m focused. I’ve got more experience than before. I’m focused on the present, the Euros.”

Mino Raiola had announced that his client would not be continuing at Manchester United beyond this summer right before their Champions League last 16 match against RB Leipzig. The player has maintained his professionalism since then, and scored some important goals for Manchester United throughout the season.

His club future is expected to be decided when he returns from international duty following Euro 2020.
