## What Is Siren’s Kiss About?

The series follows insurance investigator Cha Woo-seok, who tracks a fraud case linked to mysterious deaths — only to become dangerously entangled with Han Seol-ah, the prime suspect at the center of it all.

It is based on the 1999 Japanese television series *Koori*[/Film](https://www.slashfilm.com/2133291/monarch-legacy-of-monsters-season-2-episode-5-titan-x-reveal/)

The show’s central question is one that hooks you from the very first episode: *Is she a killer — or is she being framed?*

## Why the Ratings Are Climbing

The surge in Episode 9 is no accident. The three-way dynamic between the leads — Park Min-young, Wi Ha-joon, and Kim Jung-hyun — exists on what Wi Ha-joon describes as “a precarious boundary between suspicion, love, and obsession.”

Park Min-young also revealed that the production employed a camera lens previously unused in Korean drama, contributing to a look she describes in one phrase: “dangerously beautiful.”

With only three episodes left, tensions between Han Seol-ah, Cha Woo-seok, and Baek Jun-beom are reaching a boiling point — and viewers simply cannot look away.

Also airing in the same slot, ENA’s *Climax* starring Ha Ji Won and Ju Ji Hoon wrapped its first half with a 3.2% rating, dipping slightly from 3.5% the week prior.
