Panasonic Automotive collaborate with Totem USA to design First UL-Certified E-Bike

Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America that is a division of Panasonic Corporation of North America declares its collaboration with Totem USA to bring Totem’s first UL-certified eBike to that U.S. market, “Zen Rider”.

In 2019, Panasonic has got the industry’s first e-Bike safety standard development organization and it has led safety for science companies.

PANASONIC AUTOMOTIVE POWERS FIRST UL-CERTIFIED EBIKE WITH TOTEM USA,  BLENDING USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN AND SAFETY

Panasonic has been powered by, the Totem USA eBike “Zen Rider” that gives the consumers the affordable, family-friendly option for meeting the rising demands of the eBike market. NPD’s research has been indicating towards the growth rate for electric bicycles of 240% within 12 months leading up to 12th July 2021.

The senior manager of business development at Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America, Derek Arciniaga says, “ We are proud to announce Totem USA’s first eBike with a UL certified Panasonic system, to expand mobility transformation in the US. With a low step-through mounting on the Zen Rider, the bike design and motor/battery system are especially suited for urban areas.

Panasonic finally enters US e-bike market with its own electric motors and  batteries - Electrek

Panasonic’s second UL 2849 motor & battery system features:

  • 2-Axle motor + battery eBike system
  • 75 Nm of max torque, and  a 404 Wh battery
  • Pedal assistance up to 15mph

On such collaboration of Totem USA with Panasonic is ready to design, develop, and produce custom eBike providing for companies interested in UL certifies eBikes. The latest Panasonic drive system is very suitable for two-wheel and three-wheel city make a  tour or cargo eBike variants

At the demo with the eBike at the CES eMobility track or for learning more about the Zen Rider Powered by Panasonic.
