Pakistan’s pace battery decimated England on Day One at Lord’s. Mohammad Abbas made history, claiming his 900th first-class wicket while dismantling the top order. Supported by Mohammad Ali’s relentless precision, they reduced England to 248/8. Despite a gritty 98-run rescue mission from Cox and Smith, Pakistan’s tactical toss decision proved lethal. The tourists own the pitch, leaving England fighting for survival.
