Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra’s big leak shows a Secondary Display and 120X zoom camera

Xiaomi Mi 11 was launched globally around Europe a few weeks back and it became the first device in the world to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile processor. It was expected that the Chinese tech company will bring more upgrades to Mi 11 in the form of Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra. 

Surprisingly, Mi 11 Ultra has been revealed by a Filipino YouTuber. The video is now deleted but thanks to social media, the details, and photos of the upcoming mega smartphone are already spread around. The YouTuber has shared two colour variants of Mi 11 Ultra; Black and White. The first thing you can witness on the smartphone is its huge camera bump on the backside the smartphone. 

It is expected that the camera comes in a triple camera system with a periscope zoom lens. The back panel includes a ‘120X Ultra Pixel AI Camera’, a triple LED flash, and a wonder secondary screen. This screen displays all the applications present on the phone. This is a new technology and we cannot tell a definite benefit of this display.

But we infer that this app will help the users to click a selfie with rear cameras. How amazing is that? Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is expected to showcase a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a strong 120 Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics at the front, we can expect a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera system offers a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. 

Just like Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra will also be powered by Snapdragon 888. It runs on MIUI 12.5 global build. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery and is paired with 67W fast wired charging and 10W reverse charging. Another thing to notice in this leak is that the smartphone comes with Harman Kardon dual speakers and an in-screen fingerprint reader.

African Union and FIFA commit to build on positive results and to accelerate collaboration

ZURICH, Switzerland, February 12, 2021/ — Two years to the day of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organisations, African Union (AU) Chairperson Félix Tshisekedi and FIFA President Gianni Infantino have discussed an action plan that will accelerate several aspects of the agreement aimed at contributing for the benefit of African society, and, in particular, younger generations.

“I was delighted to speak with AU Chairperson who is a passionate football fan, and as FIFA and the AU have been working together for some time now, I am sure that under Félix Tshisekedi’s leadership our organisations will find ways to reinforce our joint efforts in many areas such as our ‘Football for Schools’ education project, the fight against match manipulation and any form of corruption, as well as safety and security at football matches across the continent,” the FIFA President said.

 “We are encouraged by FIFA’s willingness to engage with Africa, and to use football as a force for good across the continent, and by working as close partners with the AU to ensure that we are playing our part in the continued development of the sport across the African continent,” the AU Chairperson and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo said.

Speaking by videoconference prior to the FIFA Club World Cup final, the two leaders discussed a range of initiatives from the role that football through education can play in developing life skills for children, be that respecting rules and showing respect to match officials, or by encouraging teamwork and cooperation in order to succeed. It was agreed that both AU and FIFA shared a mutual vision for education through football, and further discussions to identify opportunities are now being planned for a face-to-face meeting between both leaders in Kinshasa in the near future. 

The call provided the FIFA President with the opportunity to follow-up on previous discussions with H.E. Félix Tshisekedi’s predecessor, H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa, and to assure the new AU Chairperson that FIFA and football remain totally committed to maintaining the close cooperation and teamwork that has been built up between both organisations in the past two years.  

The FIFA President also outlined the FIFA COVID-19 Relief Plan, while also stressing the important investment made to support the 54 African member associations through FIFA Forward, which has already delivered close to 300 projects across the continent since Gianni Infantino’s first election in 2016.

Jerome Boateng is being rumoured to be one of the targets for Chelsea in the summer transfer window. Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of the German and believes that he can get the best out of the player should he choose England as his next destination, he is out of contract next season and could join for free. 

However, he is only one of the names on the Blues’ transfer list for a new centre-back and negotiations with Bayern Munich are not trying to get him to stay. The Bavarians are already looking towards Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzig as a replacement for the 2014 World Cup winner. 

There is currently no agreement between the two parties yet, but things will develop in the weeks and months to come as the season ends. 

Boateng has been a part of the Bayern Munich squad since joining the club in 2011 from Manchester City for a fee worth €13.5 million. During that time, he has managed to establish himself as one of the top centre-backs of the decade gone by.

Amazon Prime Video will stream La Liga matches for £6.99 a month for the rest of the season

Amazon Prime Video will be streaming the top-flight matches of Spain for £6.99 a month for the rest of the season. They have agreed on a new subscription service with La Liga TV.

The agreement is until the end of next season. Prime Video will stream live football from the overseas competition in the UK for the first time. 

Prime Members need to buy the add-on subscription for £6.99 per month and will have access to all La Liga matches, more than 25 hours of weekly live studio programming, and exclusive recent interviews. The viewers can now have all the videos available.

La Liga president Javier Tebas was very delighted to announce the agreement. He said, “We are excited to be growing our UK presence with Amazon Prime Video, which has quickly become an important name in the world of sport.”

“The UK has a deep love of football and a huge demand for premium live content, which is reflected by the range of broadcast options we are making available to fans.”

Savita Punia – Hockey

The second-seniormost and experienced member of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team, the goalkeeper with more than 200 caps. She was a part of the team in almost every major successful campaign of the team in the last decade including, defeating Japan in the Olympic Qualifier and helped team India to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics, also won the 2016 Asian Champions Trophy, in addition to bronze at the 2014 Asian Games and silver in 2018, bronze at the 2013 Asia Cup and Gold in 2017, which pushed the team to the 2018 World Cup. Savita was also chosen as the Best Goalkeeper of the 2017 Asia Cup.

She won the Arjuna Award in 2018, which makes her the third woman goalkeeper to be conferred the distinction, and the first time in 14 years she was included in Forbes India’s 30-under-30 list the same year.

Ngangom Bala Devi – Football

Bala Devi in 2020 made history by becoming the first Indian women’s footballer to sign a professional contract with a foreign club, Lone Ranger, a Scottish Women’s Premier League on an 18- month contract. She’s also the current all-time leading scorer in the Indian Women’s League. She scored 12 goals in 2017-18 season in KRYPHSA’s semifinal run and scored 26 goals to take Manipur Police to a runner-up finish that same year.

Also, she is the former captain of the national team and is also the current top-scorer for the Indian eves, scoring 52 times in 58 games since 2010. She is also the top international goal-scorer in the South Asian region. In India’s jersey, she won the SAFF Women’s Championship thrice in 2010,2014 and 2016 and also bagged gold at the South Asian Games thrice in 2010, 2016 and 2019. She has also been named the All India Football Federation Women’s Player of the Year twice, in 2015 and 2016.
