It seems boAt-lifestyle has lots of plans over this June and probably the next month as well. The reason is this company already lists so many products already. For example, boAt Airdopes 281 Pro which is currently in the pre-order phase and will launch on 26th June, new gaming headset series – boAt Immortal series with two headsets for now, and a new smartwatch boAt Watch Xtend – scheduled to drop on 1st July. Now, another headset is listed on Flipkart – boAt Rockerz 650. It is scheduled to launch in India on 30th June at 12 PM IST. Though the pricing is not declared yet. This product is not listed on boAt’s official website yet, but I hope it will be there as well before launch.

Netflix has finally unveiled the release date for the third season of its highly anticipated show, Sex Education. Sex Education (Season 3) is one of the most awaiting series on Netflix. The new season will be out on September 13.

Official social media handles of Netflix had already revealed the premiere date of the series. Along with the official announcement Netflix had also shared some first look of the Sex Education (Season 3).

In one of the first look images, we can see Aimee Lou Wood’s Aimee and Emma Mackey’s Maeve in plaid skirts and white shirts where Aimee is wearing the school blazer, Maeve is seen wearing her usual, grunge, black leather jacket. Asa Butterfield’s Otis and Ncuti Gatwa’s Eric are also seen in one of the image sharing a funny moment.

The entire main cast of the show, including Gillian Anderson, will be returning for the new season. We can also see, Connor Swindells as a sad Adam in a bus and Kedar Williams-Stirling as Jackson and Chinenye Ezeudu as Viv.

Realme Laptop also known as Realme Book was officially teased during the global launch of the Realme GT 5G in Europe. This the company’s first laptop and is scheduled to launch later this year. The Realme Book was literally shown hands-on for the first time at the event, and we saw the first official look of the laptop. Though the company has not revealed any information about the laptop, whereas, we have seen the real-life image of the laptop and thus can assume what kinds of specs the laptop can have.

But later yesterday just after the event of Microsoft’s Windows 11 launch announcement, Realme has officially announced that the Realme Book will be available with the latest upgrade of Windows 11 out of the box. So, Realme seemingly becomes one of the first brands to announce a brand new Windows 11 featured laptop.

From the images, Realme Book looks really slim and resembles more like the Apple MacBook models. All the edges of the laptops are almost fattened. The official image of the Realme Book shared by the company shows the laptop from the left side, where we can see two USB Type C ports. One of the two is a thunderbolt port. We can also see that the laptop has a short keyboard and a large mouse pad, which means that it will have around a 14-inch display size and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It also seems that Realme will integrate a fingerprint scanner on the laptop as well.

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new Mi MIX 4 flagship smartphone later this year. In the latest development, a Chinese report has claimed that the handset will be equipped with a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery and it will support 120W wired and 80W wireless fast-charging. A recent leak had claimed that the device will flaunt an under-display selfie camera. Here’s everything you want to know.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Specifications

According to the latest information, the upcoming Mi MIX 4 will be packed with BM58 batteries with a rated capacity of 5,000mAh. The report also says that the upcoming smartphone will support 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging support. If the information turns out true then the upcoming smartphone will offer the highest fast charging support.

The Mi MIX 4 is expected to feature a notch-less, edge-to-edge display with uniform slim bezels and an under-display camera. On the rear, there might be a triple camera setup. The device is likely to bear a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, possibly with a custom resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an integrated fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication.

According to the earlier reports, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 888 Pro flagship chipset. The smartphone will be arriving with the latest MIUI 13 version based on Android 11.

The Mi MIX 4 will reportedly pack a triple rear camera module comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 120x hybrid zoom support. Up front, there may be a 32MP camera. For connectivity, the device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and a Type-C port.

The Mi MIX 4 will be costlier than the Mi 11 Ultra model, meaning it could be priced upwards of Rs. 70,000. However, the official pricing and availability details of the handset will be announced at the time of launch later this year.

Xiaomi has launched its Mi TV Webcam in India today. The device will allow people to place video calls in FHD resolution at 25fps via their smart TVs. The webcam allows a 71-degree field of view and includes dual far-field microphones for better audio performance during calls.

The webcam comes with a USB interface that will allow you to connect the device with a range of other Android TV-based smart TVs in addition to Mi TV and Redmi TV models. Overall, the Mi TV Webcam appears to be identical to the OnePlus TV Camera that was launched earlier this month.

Mi TV Webcam Specifications and features

The Mi TV Webcam enables video calls via Google Duo. It features a 2-megapixel sensor that supports 1080p video recording at 25fps. The camera also comes with dual stereo microphones that are capable of capturing audio from a distance of up to four metres. Further, there is a 3D image noise reduction algorithm that is touted to help reduce picture grain.

To offer some privacy, this Webcam comes with a physical shutter that can be slipped over the lens with a swipe when the camera is not in use. There is also a USB Type-C port for connectivity (a 1.5-meter USB-A to USB Type-C cable is bundled in the box).

Setting up the Webcam is easy thanks to its adjustable magnetic base that attaches to a smart TV or a computer. Once attached, users need to install the Google Duo app from the TV app store and pair it with the camera to make and receive video calls.

The Mi TV Webcam is available at Rs 1,999 in India. You will be able to purchase the device via Mi.com as well as Mi Home and Mi Studio stores starting June 28. Notably, the pricing of this Webcam is lesser than that of the OnePlus TV Camera that debuted at Rs. 2,499. Both webcams have virtually the same specifications and design.

Liverpool has reportedly barred Mo Salah from potentially joining Egypt’s Olympic squad this summer, according to the country’s Football Association president, Ahmed Megahed. According to the president, the forward has indicated that he will speak with the Reds’ technical team to reconsider their decision. It’s possible that this is due purely to Liverpool’s approaching busy schedule. And they perhaps don’t wish to lose Salah during the commencement of that.

According to the Daily Mirror, Egypt’s president believes Salah has already verbally accepted to join the Olympic team when speaking to Egyptian network ONTimeSport.

Megahed said, “I do not want to say that it is impossible for Salah to participate in the Olympics, but it is difficult. Salah agreed to lead the Olympic team during the last camp of the Egyptian team. We contacted Liverpool to allow Salah to join the Olympic team, and they said they were waiting for the approval of the technical staff. In the end, Liverpool refused the request because they do not want to lose the player at the beginning of the season, as well as next January with the Africa Cup of Nations.”

With immediate effect, UEFA has agreed to remove goals from all European club championships. Since its inception in 1965, the rule has been used to determine the victor of a two-legged knockout tie in which both sides scored the same number of goals on aggregate in both matches.

In these situations, earlier the team that scored the most goals away from home was declared the winner of the tie and advanced to the next round of the competition. Extra time was played in the second leg if the two sides had scored the same number of goals at home and away at the end of normal play time. If no goal was scored, kicks from the penalty mark were taken.

Ties in which the two sides score the same number of goals across the two legs will no longer be decided by the number of goals scored away, thanks to the decision to repeal this regulation. At the conclusion of the second leg, two 15-minute periods of extra time will be played. If the teams score the same number of goals or no goals during the extra time, the team that qualifies for the next stage of the competition will be determined by penalty kicks from the penalty mark.

Because away goals would no longer be given weight in deciding a tie, they would be eliminated from the criteria used to calculate rankings when two or more teams are tied for first place in a group.

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin said, “it is fair to say that home advantage is nowadays no longer as significant as it once was. Taking into consideration the consistency across Europe in terms of styles of play, and many different factors which have led to a decline in home advantage, the UEFA Executive Committee has taken the correct decision in adopting the view that it is no longer appropriate for an away goal to carry more weight than one scored at home.”

There are a variety of things that could be contributing to the loss of home advantage. Better pitch quality and standardized pitch sizes, improved stadium infrastructure, increased security, improved refereeing care (GLT and VAR), wider and more sophisticated TV coverage of matches, more comfortable travel conditions, a compressed calendar dictating squad turnover, and changes in competition formats have all been implemented. All of these factors have influenced the way football is played and blurred the distinctions between home and away games.

Lucien Favre to join Crystal Palace as new head coach

Crystal Palace are all set to complete the signing of former Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre as their new head coach. Roy Hodgson announced that he would be retiring from his position shortly before the season ended, and finished his career against his former club, Liverpool. 

Favre was axed from the Westfalenstadion midway through the 20/21 stadium and was replaced with Edin Terzic. The stand-in coach managed to not only lead Dortmund into the top four, but also guided them to the DFB Pokal trophy by defeating RB Leipzig in the finals. 

According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Favre is set to join the London club this summer. He will sign a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2024. The agreement is expected to be completed very soon. Only the final details remain to be sorted out between the two parties. 

As per the new laws in place within the United Kingdom, only the work permit remains to be sorted out for the move to go through. The club are working hard to close the deal as soon as possible following the case with Wolves’ Bruno Lage. 

Palace finished 14th in the Premier League this past season. The arrival of Favre will give the fans of the club hope that they will at least be able to finish in the top half next season. With talent of the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Eberechi Eze at the club, they could do so under the right guidance.
