Real Madrid might have to sell Raphael Varane

Raphael Varane managed to remind fans of his worth during the match against Huesca where his two goals managed to hand Los Blancos the win. However, while it goes to show how good the Frenchman actually is on the pitch, the same is cause for concern when we remember that Varane’s contract expires at the end of the 21/22 season, which is in a year. 

The player is being heavily linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. Marca report that Real Madrid will want to sell Varane at a bargain price to any clubs willing to buy him during the summer. The main reason behind this stance is the rumour that Varane is not planning on extending his stay at the Spanish capital any further.

A fee worth €50 million is being touted for the World Cup winning centre-back, which in today’s transfer market, is a well justified fee. 

Varane has managed to establish himself as an irreplaceable figure in the Madrid squad alongside skipper Sergio Ramos, who is also facing a delicate contract situation himself. Speaking of investments, it is also worth noting that Varane is only paid €6 million per season, which for a defender of his calibre, is a little low when you consider the amount of money that is paid to players of similar calibre. Clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United, who are in need of quality centre-back options will be key figures in the transfer race if one arises. 

The 27-year-old has won everything there is to win with Madrid and is possibly on the verge of wanting to seek new pastures and challenges, and only time will tell whether those possibilities are facts or not.

Intel’s budget B460 & H410 motherboards will not support Rocket Lake CPUs

Recently, the Blue team has confirmed that its budget series of motherboards namely – B460 and H470 motherboards will not have support for Intel Rocket Lake CPUs. Instead of announcing the launch date for the upcoming 11th Gen processors, Intel has made it clear which motherboards will get official support for next-gen CPUs.

Slated to be available from Q2 2021, only Intel’s Z490 and H470 motherboards will officially support next-gen Rocket Lake processors. A lot of OEMs have already started to tease their Z590, B560 and H570 motherboard lineup; it makes sense for Intel to declare the chipset support on last-gen motherboards as well officially.

The upcoming budget H510 motherboards will not provide a huge upgrade in terms of features but the inclusion of WiFi6 onboard wireless connection, as well as the newer ME firmware, will be helpful for budget buyers.

On the other hand, the best offering could be in the form of B560 chipset, which now for the first time support memory overclocking on a mid-range chipset. It will also come with RAID support and with 1×16 + 1×4 PCI Gen3.0 support. Mercedes have announced the arrival of F1 legend Sir Lewis Hamilton to their team, and the Englishman joins on a one year contract for 2021 only.

Hamilton won the Bahrain Grand Prix last year to become the most successful and decorated driver in the sport’s history and is now set to try and extend his list of accolades even further with his new endeavour now made official. 

‘The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team is pleased to announce that the reigning Formula One World Constructors’ Champion and the reigning F1 World Drivers’ Champion will continue together in 2021′, said Mercedes in an official statement. 

‘The Mercedes works team and Lewis agreed a new contract which will see one of the sport’s most successful ever collaborations continue for a ninth consecutive season.’

‘A significant part of the new agreement builds upon the joint commitment to greater diversity and inclusion in motorsport that was made last year by Lewis and Mercedes.

‘This will take the form of a joint charitable foundation, which will have the mission of supporting greater diversity and inclusion in all its forms in motorsport.’

The World Champion was originally holding out for a three-year deal, paying out £40 million each year. However, owing to the financial conditions across the world right now, and the lack of seats elsewhere, the driver had to settle for a one year deal with Mercedes.

AMD Ryzen 5000G PRO APU spotted with 8 cores & 16 threads

AMD has launched the Ryzen 5000 series processors for quite some time now, however, launched only 4 of them. On the APU front, they have announced the Ryzen 5000 series mobile APUs, which will take some time to arrive on laptops but there’s no news about the desktop APUs.

Previously also we get a glimpse of a Ryzen 7 5700G multiple times, and now we have a CPU-Z screenshot of a new Cezanne AM4 desktop APU that has been leaked on Chiphell. It was disheartening to hear that the incredible Ryzen 4000G desktop APUs were reserved for OEMs only, similarly, the Cezanne AM4 PRO series will not go retail as well.

As we see this is an 8-core and 16-threaded processor and it is suspected that it could be the Ryzen 7 PRO 5750G. As per the post, the APU is not compatible with a PCI Gen4 interface nor it features integrated Navi graphics.

While the Infinity Fabric clock (FCLK) is set to 2300 MHz, some samples are said to work up to 2500 MHz. The all-core boost is touted to be around 4.05 GHz, however, can reach up to 4.75 GHz in the current state. Obviously, AMD will not sell the Zen 3 based Ryzen 7 5750G PRO for cheap than the current Vermeer.

Interestingly, it is speculated that we may not even see this processor go retail as it is very unclear right now whether AMD will make the Ryzen 5000G non-PRO series available in the PC market.

At 19 years and 171 days, LaMelo Ball tied a rookie franchise record with seven 3-pointers in the Charlotte Hornets’ 119-94 rout of the Houston Rockets, on Monday. Ball tied the team record set by DJ Augustin in 2008 and matched by P.J. Washington last season. He joined the elite club with LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Coby White who are the only others who have matched the feat as teenagers.

He ended the night with 24 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in 32 minutes against the Rockets. According to Elias Sports, the 19-year-old became merely the third player of his age or younger to record multiple games of 20 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.

Since Stephen Curry in 2010 against the LA Clippers, Ball also became the first rookie to post a stat line in a single game of at least 24 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and seven 3-pointers. The only other rookie to reach those numbers was Jason Kidd in 1995.

Since LaMelo Ball entered the starting lineup, the budding star is averaging 22.6 points, 6.6 assists, six rebounds and one steal in five games on 51.4% shooting from the 3-point arc. Charlotte put Ball into the starting lineup on February 1 in a win against Miami. The Hornets now own a record of 3-2 with Ball in the starting lineup, and they are averaging 120.8 points over their last six games after averaging 107.7 points in the first 19. The 25-point victory versus Houston marked back-to-back 20-point wins for the Hornets, a feat they hadn’t accomplished since 2017.

“[LaMelo] oozes confidence,” said James Borrego, head coach of the Charlotte Hornets. “He believes it’s going in. That’s at least half the battle in this thing. He’s going to continue that. He’s fearless. He’s going to continue to shoot it. He’s got great confidence in [his shot] and he’s going to keep getting reps and better shots as he goes. It’s a great weapon to have and it sets up a lot of his game with the way he can get to the rim.”

Through 25 games, Ball is leading all the rookies in most of the major stat categories with averages of 14.2 points (1st), 6.2 assists (1st), 5.9 rebounds (2nd), and 1.4 steals (1st).

From the recent press release report, it is confirmed that over 4 million cars are purchased in a year all over the world. Over 98% of these cars will be fueled by non-renewable sources of energy like Petrol, Diesel, and Gasoline which produce harmful and toxic gases after burning the fuel.

The combustion engine has been used in present-day cars that generate some hazards to the environment. On the other hand, Electric vehicles will run on rechargeable lithium batteries and can reuse them several times without any harmful effect on the environment.

TATA Motors has launched four types of Electric Cars in India:

1.TATA Electric Car: Tigor EV

Price: INR 10-INR 12 Lakhs

There is no doubt that TATA is one of the main key driving forces in the development of the Electric Mobility roadmap for India. This electric giant will execute the maximum power of 30KW. TATA will launch this car with the three-phase AC Induction Motor. It is expected that a 216Ah battery will be used to drive Tigor EV to produce a maximum voltage of 72 Volts.

This speed of the car will go to a maximum of 100kmph. It will take 360 minutes to charge the battery fully in normal condition, if you want to charge this fast mode then it will take 90 minutes. One of the main challenges of this car is charge time and range. TATA will look after these issues to solve the problem.

2.TATA Electric Car: Tiago EV

Price: INR 8-INR 10 Lakhs

The next Electric car model is TATA Tiago EV. This car will also be powered by a three-phase AC Induction Motor. It is expected that the battery will be 216Ah and can provide a maximum speed of 100Km in one charge and the maximum speed is 135 kmph. It will also take 360 minutes in normal condition to charge the battery fully and 90 minutes for the fast charging.

3.TATA Electric Car: E-Vision EV

Price: INR 23-INR 25 Lakhs

The E-Vision model is one of the first premium C-Segment electric power sedans in the country. The TATA team is working on the latest battery pack for the E-Vision and launch with a system that can last at least 300-400km range and give a force the car over 200 kmph speed. The design of this car model is very unique. The exteriors of this car will give a stance with fluidic lines and also with in-body door handles.

4. TATA Electric Car: Altroz EV

Price: INR 11.50-INR 13 Lakhs

TATA Motors also working on an electric version of the latest Altroz hatchback. This model will use Tata Ziptron comprising of permanent magnet AC motors that will energies the front wheel with a single-speed gearbox. It  is expected that it will cover 250-300 km in a single charge and also will be charged 80 percent in an hour.

On Tuesday, the National Transportation Safety Board is expected to announce the probable cause of the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others on January 26, 2020. 

There has been plenty of finger-pointing over the cause of the tragedy. Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, blamed the pilot. She and the families of other victims also faulted the companies that owned and operated the helicopter. The brother of the pilot did not blame Bryant but said he knew the risks of flying. The helicopter companies said that the weather was an act of God and blamed air traffic controllers.

Kobe, Gianna and the other passengers were travelling from Orange County to Ventura County for a youth basketball tournament at the Mamba Sports Academy when the helicopter encountered thick fog making vision difficult. The pilot tried to fly above the fog and layer of clouds, and as he almost broke through, the aircraft suddenly plunged downward into the Calabasas hills, killing everyone aboard instantly.

The others killed in the crash were Orange Coast College baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, Keri, and their daughter Alyssa; Christina Mauser, who helped Bryant coach his daughter’s basketball team; and Sarah Chester and her daughter Payton. Alyssa and Payton were Gianna’s teammates.

On the day a massive memorial service was held at the Staples Center, Bryant’s Lakers home ground and where he played for most of his career, Vanessa Bryant sued pilot Ara Zobayan and the companies that owned and operated the helicopter for negligence and the wrongful deaths of her husband and daughter. Families of other victims sued the helicopter companies but not the pilot.

Along with announcing the cause of the crash, the board is also expected to make recommendations to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure crashes like this do not occur again. One of the recommendations is equipping helicopters with a warning system that will alert the pilot if the aircraft is in danger of crashing. The helicopter Bryant flew in was not equipped with such a system, as it is only a requirement for air ambulances. Federal lawmakers have sponsored the Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant Helicopter Safety Act to mandate the devices on all helicopters that are carrying six or more passengers.

Lenovo K13 renders leaked along with key Specs

Lenovo is about to launch another budget-friendly smartphone, named Lenovo K13 which has been recently got certified from Bluetooth SIG certification. Now, tipsters have come out with its renders along with the key specifications. Lenovo K13 makes us remember the Lenovo Lemon K12 and Lemon K12 Pro, the rebadged version of the Moto E7 Plus and Moto G9 Power respectively. Another report (from Bluetooth SIG) is saying that the Lenovo K13 might be the rebranded version of the Moto E7i Power as we found the model numbers of both the phones were similar (XT2097). Realme GT and Realme RMX3081 to be launched in India soon

Realme X7 series have already made people talking about the company and now it seems they are ready to flood more smartphones in the ever-growing market. Yesterday, on the database of China’s TENAA authority, we saw a new Realme smartphone appear. 

The model number of this device is RMX2202. We saw a few images on the listing as well. The backside of the smartphone showed the presence of ‘GT’ branding. Even earlier, Realme has stated that Race is just a codename and not an actual brand. Thus, we expect that Realme is planning to launch this device as a part of the Realme GT series.

A Realme smartphone with the same model number was certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recently which gives us an indication the Realme GT might be heading to India. Not only this, another Realme smartphone has finished its inclusion process at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The model number of this device is RMX3081. It has received TKDN certification in the second week of January. It is expected that we see this Realme smartphone in the Indian market very soon. You can view the tweet below. 

The specification of Realme Race is not known, though we can expect it to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor. It can have 12 GB of RAM along with 256 GB of internal storage. It is also expected that this Realme Race comes with Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS. 

A few earlier reports have already suggested that the Realme Race Pro smartphone might have a 6.81-inch OLED screen. It can also have a spectacular refresh rate of 160 Hz with a 3K resolution support. It might house a powerful 5,000mAh battery paired with 125W superfast charging compatibility. 

Talking about optics, it can feature a triple camera system which includes a 64 MP primary camera, 13 MP secondary lens, and another 13 MP lens. One can expect it to feature 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
