The film follows a deeply dysfunctional married couple — played by **Jason Segel** (*Shrinking*) and **Samara Weaving** (*Ready or Not*) — who head to a remote lakeside cabin supposedly to rekindle their failing relationship. The twist? Both of them secretly showed up with a plan to kill the other. Neither knows the other’s agenda. Chaos, dark humour, and impressively choreographed violence ensue.

It’s a remake of Tommy Wirkola’s acclaimed [Norwegian dark comedy thriller](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trip_(2021_film)) *The Trip* (2021), but with an all-star ensemble and the action firepower of the team behind *John Wick* and *Nobody*.

## The Dream Cast and Crew

The supporting cast is just as exciting as the leads. **Timothy Olyphant**, **Juliette Lewis**, **Paul Guilfoyle**, and **Keith Jardine** all join the fray. Behind the camera, director **Jorma Taccone** — a *Saturday Night Live* alumnus and member of comedy group The Lonely Island — brings his signature chaotic energy, while producers **Kelly McCormick** and **David Leitch** (the 87North team) guarantee the action sequences will be absolutely top-tier.

Filming wrapped in Tampere, Finland, and the results look cinematic, ice-cold, and brilliantly twisted.
