Loving Adults

While high-pitched dramas might be the trend of the season, who does not like watching a film with a gripping storyline? It follows the story of a couple who walk along the thin line of love and hate.

Their life turns upside down when the wife discovers that her husband is having an illicit affair, but what’s intriguing here is that both the partners take extreme steps to get what they want. Directed by Barbara Topsøe-Rothenborg, the cast of Loving Adults, which is a Netflix release, includes Dar Salim, Sonja Richter and Sus Wilkins, among others.

Seoul Vibe

If you are among the fans of Korean dramas, Seoul Vibe on Netflix is what you should choose to watch this weekend. Set in the backdrop of 1988, over three decades ago, this action comedy has been termed “Grinding Gears” by the New York Times. It is being said that the climax of the film is especially captivating while the phase of South Korea’s transition from military dictatorship to free elections has been captured well in Seoul Vibes.

Chintaa Mani

Ever imagined about the possibilities if you get to see your future? In this film streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from August 27, a man gets a precious future-telling stone – Mani – from a mysterious vagabond, and embarks on a ride to change his and his friend’s future. Little had they expected then the joyride would be shortlived as destiny has something else in store for them. Directed by Puneet Sharma, Chintaa Mani features storyteller-filmmaker Sudhanshu Rai, Shobhit Sujay, Abhishek Sonpaliya and Akhlaq Ahmad Azad.

Me Time

This Netflix comedy starring Mark Whalberg and Kevin Hart is another entertainer that would help you escape boredom this weekend. Having spent years being a doting home-staying dad, Sonny, played by Kevin, gets a day to himself. Though he has a long list of plans for the day, nothing seems to be going as expected for him. There are all fun elements in the film such as attacks, run-ins etc.

Hit: The First Case

This Rajkummar Rao starrer is based on a detective who is out to probe two disappearance cases, with one of the victims being his girlfriend. Even though he is troubled, but still has a brilliant mind, however, it is not expected to be an easy case to crack for him. With lots of twists and turns, the cast of the crime thriller includes Sanya Malhotra, Dalip Tahil, Milind Gunaji and Shilpa Shukla.
