Ousmane Dembele has been dropped for PSG’s Champions League match against Arsenal. While several sources have suggested that the player had a fallout with manager Luis Enrique.
However, the Spaniard has now come forth to shed light on the situation, citing a commitment issue. The winger has had a bright start to the Ligue 1 season, scoring four goals and providing four assists in six games.

“If someone doesn’t meet the requirements of the team, it means in my opinion that they are not ready,” he said.
“It means in such an important week, with such an important game coming up, we need every player to be fully available, and if they are not meeting expectations, there are no issues.
“It is my job to do the best for the team and that was my decision.”
This isn’t the first time that Enrique has dropped a player for a lack of commitment in training. He did the same with Kylian Mbappe last season when the forward was not convincing enough. It remains to be seen if the former Barcelona man can eventually work his way back into the team given how impressive he has been in the league.
