Barcelona’s Oscar Mingueza has completed a transfer to Celta Vigo, ending his spell with the Blaugranas. The defender has agreed to a contract until 2026, and will be aiming to revive his career with the new club.
He has been criticised a lot for his performances on the pitch by Culers, and has finally been offloaded. The transfer fee rumoured is under €5 million, and Celta Vigo have included a sell-on clause in the contract as well, which means that Barcelona will be entitled to a percentage of any future sale.

The agreement has been announced by Barcelona, and the move will be made official when the medical is completed and the contracts are signed for the transfer.
Despite being subject of a lot of negativity, Oscar Mingueza has the ability to play across the backline. He can play as a centre-back, and can also feature as a right-back. Under Eduardo Coudet, he is expected to feature as a right-back following a busy summer transfer window for the club.
Miguenza’s long passing and crossing ability was noticeable whenever he played right-back for Barcelona. As a result, his versatility will come into play for the coach in a number of different tactical approaches. At 23, the Spaniard is still young and can develop himself into a better player, and regular opportunities in the first team can help him get there.
