At MWC 2023, the smartphone giant announced a lot of AIoT products alongside its new Find N2 Flip, and among them, an interesting thing is OPPO Zero-Power Tag.

Billy Zhang, President of Overseas Sales and Services, OPPO said, “By bringing new technology breakthroughs to market, we are unlocking new possibilities for smart living to better serve our users worldwide.”

OPPO Zero-Power Tag is OPPO’s answer to AirTag

It is OPPO’s first self-developed prototype based on zero-power wireless communication technology, designed to drive the growth of ambient power-enabled IoT (Internet of Things) to make our lives more convenient.

Much like Samsung and other OEMs, who have copied Apple’s AirTag, OPPO too joins the race with its own OPPO Tag and for a giant like OPPO, this makes complete sense. Also, we won’t be surprised if the same is launched under its subsidiary brand OnePlus or Realme.

This OPPO Zero-Power Tag communicates directly with mobile phones, allowing consumers and businesses to connect, track, and get more information about the things that matter to them. Tags can be used to identify different items, pinpoint their location, or transmit useful environmental information, including temperature.

More details of this OPPO Zero-Power Tag will be soon unveiled when they get launched in 2023 and we will know more about its pricing as well. Know more about OPPO at the MWC 2023 event.
