Last year Oppo partnered with League of Legends and is now prepping up for the League of Legends World Championship 2020 which is one of its biggest events of the year and this year’s theme is “Be the Legend”.
To celebrate the League of Legends World Championship 2020 Oppo is launching a limited edition Oppo Find X2 dubbed Oppo Find X2 League of Legends Esports: World 2020 Edition and Oppo is also launching the limited edition of its recently launched Oppo Watch dubbed Oppo Watch League of Legends edition and alongside the special edition of these two previously announced products Oppo is also expected to a new IoT product.
These products launch won’t be the only part of this event as Oppo is also expected to an official song and will be collaborating with League of Legends for a music video.
League of Legends World Championship is set to start from September 25 so you can expect Oppo to announce the smartphone on the same date during the event until then Oppo has been too secretive about the design of the upcoming special edition products but you can catch a glimpse of phone’s back in the Take Over music video on the League of Legends official YouTube channel.
Oppo’s President of Global Marketing William Liu expressed his interest in partnering with League of Legends again to offer some special edition products to their consumers. He also added that League of Legends is one of the pioneers of esports and it also supports what Oppo stands for delivering “out of ordinary” products to its users.
Oppo has been known for releasing some limited edition smartphones in the past like a collaboration with Marvel under which Oppo launched the F11 Pro Avengers edition then the company also collaborated with James Jean for the Reno 4 Pro 5G Artist Limited Edition apart from this Oppo has also launched a bunch of custom EVA limited edition products including Oppo Ace 2, Oppo Watch, a custom EVA headset, AIR VOOOC charger.
