Oppo Reno6 Z powered by Dimensity 800U launched silently

OPPO Reno6 Z has silently launched in Thailand as a successor to the Reno5 Z from last year. We know it is the latest addition to the Reno6 series that includes the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+. However, the Reno6 Z is a mid-range offering from the company. Moreover, it comes with an identical design to that of Reno 6. Let’s take a look at the detailed specifications of the device ahead:

OPPO Reno6 Z specifications

The OPPO Reno6 Z features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out with a noticeable bottom bezel and an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the rear, it packs a rectangular triple camera unit. The device sports a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 800-nits of peak brightness.

For taking pictures, the Reno6 Z 5G sports a triple-camera system at the back, helmed by a 64-megapixel sensor. It’s got an 8-megapixel shooter with ultra-wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. There’s a 32-megapixel, f/2.4 camera for selfies, too.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. In addition, it comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The phone has 5GB of expandable virtual RAM for better multitasking. Additionally, it runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 custom skin out of the box.

Furthermore, it packs a 4,310mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast-charging support. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

OPPO Reno6 Z pricing and availability

OPPO Reno6 Z price and availability details in Thailand haven’t been revealed but it is listed at an expected price of VND 9,490,000 approx (Rs 30,900) on OPPO Vietnam’s site. The handset will be available in Aurora and Stellar Black colour options.
