OPPO Reno5, Reno5 Pro, Reno5 Pro+ display, and design information revealed

As per some rumors, Oppo is going to release its Oppo Reno 5 series this month of December (probably on the 10th). Reports claim that the Reno 5 series includes three smartphones: Oppo Reno5, Reno5 Pro, and Reno5 Pro+. As of now, a Chinese tipster has shared an image that gives us an idea about the display design of the upcoming Oppo Reno 5 series smartphones. So, let’s go and try to break it down.

In that shared image of the Chinese tipster, we can witness three smartphones: the left one is the Oppo reno 4 SE whereas the middle and the right ones are the Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G. The tipster is trying to tell us that the upcoming Reno 5 smartphone will look similar to the Reno4 SE from the front whereas the Reno5 Pro and the Reno5 pro+ will look like the Reno4 Pro. SO, this is only about the display design. But from some other sources, we’ve come to know some other specifications of the Reno5 series smartphones. Let’s see what are those.

Oppo Reno5:

As per the reports, the upcoming Oppo Reno5 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. Regarding the display, this phone will feature a 6.43-inch OLED panel.

Coming to the camera section, the Oppo Reno5 is expected to feature a quad rear camera setup which includes a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, this phone is more likely to have a 32MP selfie snapper at the front.

In terms of the battery, the Oppo Reno5 could be fueled up by a decent 4,300mAH battery with expected support of 65W fast charging.

Oppo Reno5 Pro:

As per the reports, the upcoming Oppo Reno5 Pro is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Regarding the display, this phone will feature a 6.55-inch OLED panel.

Coming to the camera section, the Oppo Reno5 Pro is expected to feature a quad rear camera setup that includes a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, this phone is more likely to have a 32MP selfie snapper at the front.

In terms of the battery, the Oppo Reno5 Pro could be fueled up by a decent 4,350mAH battery with expected support of 65W fast charging.

Oppo Reno5 Pro+:

As per the reports, the upcoming Oppo Reno5 Pro+ is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone will feature a 6.55-inch OLED panel.

Coming to the camera section, the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ is expected to feature a quad rear camera setup that includes a Sony IMX7XX 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, this phone is more likely to have a 32MP selfie snapper at the front.

In terms of the battery, the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ could be fueled up by an even bigger 4,500mAH battery with expected support of 65W fast charging.
