A couple of weeks ago the company unveiled the Reno5 and Reno5 Pro smartphones. Today, the company has launched the top model of its flagship Reno5 series: Oppo Reno5 Pro+. The design of this newly launched phone is all most similar to the Reno5 Pro, but the top model of the Reno5 series has some improvement in specifications. Let’s check all the specifications and features of this phone.
Specifications of Oppo Reno5 Pro+
The Oppo Rwno5 Pro+ sports a 6.55-inches Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Due to the AMOLED display, this phone supports an under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of design, this phone features curved edges. On the backside, this phone has a gradient colour finish on its rear panel alongside a rectangular shaped camera module.
Under the hood, this phone is supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC and runs on ColorOS 11 on top of Android 11 out of the box. The Reno5 Pro+ comes with two storage options: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB storage configurations.
Now enlighten the camera part. The Oppo Reno5 Pro+ has a quad rear camera setup, which includes- a primary sensor of 50 Megapixels with a Sony IMX766 lens, alongside a 16 Megapixels of Ultra-angle sensor, a 13 Megapixels Telephoto lens, and a 2Megapixels of Macro sensor. On the front side, there is a punch-hole cutout at the left corner of the screen to hold 16 Megapixels of a front-facing camera for selfie and video call purpose.
In terms of battery, the phone has a 4,500 mAh battery backup, which will get the support of 65W Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging technology. The Reno5 Pro+ will have a dual-SIM facility, which will be supported by a 5G network. Regarding the connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and a UDB Type-C port. The company offers two colour options for this phone: Star River Dream and Floating Night Shadow.
Price of Reno5 Pro+
The Reno5 Pro+ has a price tag of RMB 3999 (approx. Rs.45,000) for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at RMB 4499 (approx. Rs.50,600). Regarding availability, this new phone will go on sale from 29th December in China. But there is no information regarding the global launch of this phone yet.
