Oppo Reno Ace 2 is finally launched today after looking at several weeks of leaks, teaser videos, etc. The smartphone is a power-packed device that features 5G, Snapdragon 865 and most interestingly fastest 40W AirVOOC wireless charging. The phone also supports a normal 65W SuperVOOC charging which comes in the box, but the AirVOOC does not in the box and will be sold separately.

Details:
The 6.5″ OLED FHD+ display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and the 16MP front camera fits in the punch-hole cut on the display. The quad-camera setup is placed brilliantly in a circular pattern. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC which is paired with 8/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 3.0 storage. The phone runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 6, NFC and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Oppo Reno Ace 2 is powered by a 4000mAh battery which can be charged with a fast 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charger that comes within the box. More interestingly the phone also supports wireless charging which can be charged by the latest launched Oppo AirVOOC, which is a 40W fast wireless charger. Oppo claims that the wireless charger is capable of charging a full cycle in just 56 minutes. The normal 65W wired charger is also capable of charging a full cycle within 35 minutes.
The Oppo Reno Ace2 will come in purple, grey and silver colors and will start at CNY 3,999 ($565) for the 8/128GB model. There’s also an 8/256GB model for CNY 4,399 ($625) and a top of the line 12/256GB trim for CNY4,599($650). Pre-orders are already underway while official sales start on April 20. Details of international availability aren’t confirmed yet.
