Oppo to launch its Reno 5 series pretty soon. As per some leaks, we have come to know that the Reno 5 Pro+ 5G will sport a Snapdragon 865 SoC whereas the Reno 5 4G is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC. Moreover, another leak has come out that the Reno 5 Pro+ 5G may feature a 50MP primary camera sensor of Sony IMX7-series. So, let’s go check out the tipped specifications of both the upcoming Reno 5 series smartphones from Oppo.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ Specifications
As per the leaks, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ smartphone will feature a similar design as the Reno 5 Pro 5G. Coming to the camera, there will be some differences as it is going to offer the world’s first 50MP Sony IMX 7-series sensor for the primary sensor of the rear camera module. Along with the 50MP primary sensor, the rear camera module will feature a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
In terms of the SoC, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC chipset. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 5 is expected to be powered by the SD 765 5G chipset and the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset will be there for the Oppo Reno 5 Pro smartphone. As per the tipsters, Oppo will launch its Reno 5 series on December 10 this year. But the pricing has not been revealed by them.
Oppo Reno 5 4G Specifications
As per the leaks, the Oppo Reno 5 4G will feature a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. In terms of the chipset, this phone is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.
Coming to the camera section, this phone is about to feature a quad rear camera setup which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and two 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, this phone is expected to offer a 44MP selfie snapper at the front.
In terms of the battery, this phone is likely to be fueled up by a decent 4,310mAH battery with a massive 50W fast charging support. This phone will have a polycarbonate rear panel.
