On Wednesday, Oppo announced that, as part of its Service Centre 3.0 plan, it would begin offering pick-up and drop-off services for its customers to effortlessly get their smartphones fixed over 13,000 pin codes in India in October 2022.

According to Oppo, the business is offering the “best turn-around time (TAT)” for returning smartphones within a week. The devices will be picked up from these pin codes for repair and returned within 3-5 days after getting mended.

“Starting October 2022, users can book a servicing pick-up for their Oppo smartphones pan India,” the statement said. The pick-up can be scheduled between 9 AM to 7 PM.

“The recurring insight coming from our conversation with them [customers] was a need for a transparent, convenient, and premium service experience,” said Saurabh Chaturvedi, Head of Customer Service, Oppo India.

Chaturvedi added that keeping in view the feedback received, Oppo has launched service centre 3.0.

“Further, to offer a faster, easier, and more convenient customer experience, we have introduced device pickup and drop services which will ensure accessibility of quality technology across the country.”

Oppo announced that in addition to providing customers with services like AI-powered voice bots and platinum-care hotline help for rapid assistance, it is also introducing EMI options on repairs to customers on all valid debit and credit cards.

In Chandigarh, Kochi, Calicut, and Lucknow, the new service centres 3.0 are operational.

According to the statement, Oppo intends to extend its service centre 3.0 upgrade to all service centres in India’s tier-1, tier-2, and tier-3 cities by 2024.

Notably, the domestic smartphone manufacturer Lava recently disclosed that it will offer doorstep smartphone repair services to its clients in 9,000 pin codes.
