OPPO has silently launched a new budget tablet in Malaysia, the OPPO Pad SE, ahead of its expected debut in China alongside the OPPO Reno 14 series. The “SE” moniker for a tablet is new for the brand. The OPPO Pad SE looks to be the successor of the OPPO Pad Neo, which was announced in January 2024.

OPPO Pad SE Launched in Malaysia for ₹13,947 with 11-Inch 2K Screen, 9,340mAh Battery, and ColorOS Features
The tablet is offered at MYR 699 in Malaysia, which comes around ₹13,947 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option. It is offered in two colour options—Starlight Silver and Twilight Blue. Pre-orders are available now through online stores Lazada and Shopee and will run until the end of May. But OPPO hasn’t announced if or when the device will be getting an international launch. In terms of hardware, the OPPO Pad SE has an 11-inch 2K screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 500-nits peak brightness.
The screen is flanked by symmetrical bezels to give it a balanced appearance. The back panel that houses the rear cameras comes with a dual-tone design and circular camera bump, giving a stylish, sleek, and modern look. It comes with a 9,340mAh battery and 33W fast charging, so you can power up and keep going with less waiting. It is powered by OPPO’s ColorOS with options for smart functions. One highlight is the customisable kids mode, which allows parents to monitor screen time, control app access, and filter content.
Additional productivity features include Google Gemini, multi-screen connect, multi-window display, and meeting share with multiple files. While the Malaysian variant packs an entry-level setup, the next edition, supposedly meant for China, includes a MediaTek Dimensity SoC, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage, hinting that it might be a more performance-specific model. For now, it’s unclear if the XM3 will be available in India.
