OPPO is currently in the process of preparing for the release of its latest tablet, the OPPO Pad Neo, which has been making significant strides in the certification arena. Having previously secured NBTC certification, the tablet has since obtained approvals from SIRIM and IMDA, and most recently, it has garnered Bluetooth SIG certification in anticipation of its imminent launch.
The Upcoming OPPO Pad Neo
The Bluetooth SIG certification not only reiterates the tablet’s model number, OPD2303 but also discloses that the OPPO Pad Neo will be equipped with Bluetooth v5.2 support. Interestingly, it shares the same model number as the OnePlus Pad Go, hinting at potential similarities between the two devices. Adding to the intrigue, OPPO recently unveiled the OPPO Pad Air 2 in China, essentially a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Go. Speculation arises that the global release of the OPPO Pad Neo may coincide with that of the Pad Air 2.
When delving into the expected specifications of the OPPO Pad Neo, it appears to mirror those of the Pad Air 2, unless OPPO decides on last-minute alterations. Enthusiasts can anticipate an 11.4-inch IPS LCD display featuring a resolution of 1720 x 2408 pixels and a pixel density of 260 PPI. Powering the tablet could be an octa-core Helio G99 processor, complemented by up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The OPPO Pad Neo is likely to boast an 8MP camera on both the front and rear, delivering balanced photography capabilities. Furthermore, a robust 8,000mAh battery is anticipated, coupled with 33W fast charging support, akin to the Pad Air. Despite the absence of specific details regarding the global launch date, the successive certifications received by the OPPO Pad Neo suggest an imminent unveiling, possibly in the coming days. As the tablet aligns itself for a global debut, tech enthusiasts eagerly await the official introduction of OPPO’s latest innovation.
