OPPO entered the tablet market last year with the release of the OPPO Pad, and the company later introduced another product in the category, the OPPO Pad Air. Now, the Chinese company is preparing to launch another tablet, the OPPO Pad 2. The device will be a direct successor to last year’s OPPO Pad, as the name suggests.
The OPPO Pad 2 has been spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench ahead of its launch, revealing some of the tablet’s key specifications.
The specifications of the OPPO Pad 2 appear to be similar to those of the OnePlus Pad
According to the listing, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. While the exact model has not been revealed, it is most likely a Snapdragon 888. The device scored 1,160 points in the single-core test and 3,186 points in the multi-core test in Geekbench 6.
The listing also states that the OPPO Pad 2 will ship with the Android 13 operating system pre-installed, most likely with the ColorOS custom interface on top. The device tested on the platform came with 8GB of RAM and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
Previous leaks about the tablet revealed an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. It is also said to be powered by a 9,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. While no official release date has been announced, the OPPO Pad 2 is expected to join the OPPO Find X6 series flagship smartphones later this month.
