Oppo has launched the K7 5G as a budget 5G smartphone with decent specifications. The phone packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display and comes with a quad camera setup. The phone has a drop notch design.
The quad-camera setup includes a 48MP sensor with an f/1.7 lens, an 8MP sensor, and two 2MP sensors. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, housed in the notch.
Oppo K72 5G features a Snapdragon 765G processor that supports 5G connectivity. It is also paired with Adreno GPU 620 and comes with 8GB of RAM. The internal storage is provided upto 256GB and there is no expanding option available.
The phone runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. The phone is powered by a 4,025mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, 4G-LTE, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The colour options listed on JD.com include Flowing Cloud, Flow Flame, Sea Night, and Mystery Black (translated), while the Perak Lemon variant is listed on Suning.
The Oppo K7 5G is priced at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs.21,500) for the 8GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (approx Rs.24,800), as per the listing on Chinese retailer JD.com.
The sale will start on August 11 and is already available in TMall, JD.com and Suning.
