Despite initial leaks providing glimpses into this flagship smartphone, more details have emerged regarding its launch and the advanced camera features it is set to offer.
Shortly after the global debut of the Find N series, Oppo is poised to officially unveil its camera-centric Find X series in the coming days. Oppo has announced an event scheduled for November 23 in China, where it will reveal the latest Oppo Find X7 series, the new Oppo Reno 11 series, the Oppo Pad Air 2, and other products.

According to insights from tipster Digital Chat Station’s Weibo post, several other phones are expected to launch around the same timeframe. In addition to Oppo’s Find X7 Pro, Nubia and Honor are anticipated to announce their flagship devices ahead of the Spring Festival. The tipster suggests that the Nubia Z60 Ultra and Honor Magic 6 Pro will also make their debut during this period.
Further details about the Oppo Find X7 Pro’s rear camera setup have been shared by the same tipster. This year, Oppo is set to adopt a quad-camera configuration, featuring one primary camera, two telephoto cameras, and one ultra-wide camera in its rear camera system.
For context, the outgoing model, the Oppo Find X6 Pro, utilizes a triple-rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel 1.0-inch type primary camera, a 50-megapixel 65mm (2.8X optical zoom) periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel 110-degree FoV ultra-wide camera.
The Oppo Find X7 Pro is expected to boast a revamped camera system, including a 50-megapixel LYT-900, 1.0-inch type primary camera, a 50-megapixel IMX890 (1/1.56-inch) periscope telephoto with 2.7X optical zoom, and a second 50-megapixel IMX858 (1/2.4-inch) periscope telephoto with 6X optical zoom. The setup is also anticipated to feature a fourth 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Staying true to Oppo’s commitment to premium camera technology, the Find X7 Pro will incorporate its XCD technology, developed in collaboration with renowned camera specialist Hasselblad.
