The release date for the Oppo Find X7 series has been disclosed, featuring the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra models. The company has unveiled the launch details, including design, color choices, RAM, and storage configurations for the Chinese market. Reservations for the handsets are now open in China. While there are indications of a Find X7 Ultra ‘Satellite Communication’ variant, its availability has not been officially confirmed.
The All New Oppo Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra
Globally, the Oppo Find X7 series is set to launch on January 8 at 2:30 pm Beijing time (12 pm IST). A promotional video showcasing the design of both models, Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra, has been released. Reservations for both models are currently being accepted in China, with the official website listings providing insights into color options and storage configurations.
The Oppo Find X7 will be available in four colors: Desert Silver Moon, Smokey Purple, Starry Sky Black, and Vast Sea and Sky (blue). The black and purple variants feature glass back panels, while the other two designs incorporate a combination of faux leather and glass finish. Storage options include 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants.
In contrast, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra will come in Desert Silver Moon, Song Ying Mo Yun (black), and Vast Sea and Sky (blue). All variants of the Ultra model will feature a back panel with a combination of faux leather and glass finish. Storage options for the Ultra model include 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB.
Both Oppo Find X7 models exhibit a large circular camera module positioned centrally on the back panel. The phones feature curved screens with a hole-punch slot at the top to accommodate the front camera. The right side houses the volume rockers and power buttons, while the left edge appears to feature an alert slider typically found on OnePlus smartphones.
The base Oppo Find X7 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the Find X7 Ultra is rumored to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Both models are anticipated to run on Android 14-based ColorOS 14. The standard model may sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K display, while the Ultra variant could feature a 6.82-inch 2K display. Both phones are rumored to include a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.
In terms of camera specifications, the Oppo Find X7 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel LYT-808 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom and OIS support. On the other hand, the Find X7 Ultra is rumored to include a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel LYT800 sensor with an ultrawide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor with telephoto lens featuring 3x optical zoom and OIS support, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 sensor with telephoto lens offering 6x optical zoom.
