Oppo Find N5 Launching with 100W Magnetic Cable, Accessories

Oppo is set to introduce the new Find N5 foldable smartphone on February 20 at 19:00 UTC, but along with the launch, a new family of magnetic charging accessories will also debut. This latest batch, however, consists of a 100W dual Type-C magnetic cable that just got official today, a 50W AirVOOC wireless charger that had already been released, and a 5,000mAh magnetic power bank.

Specifically, the 100W dual Type-C magnetic charging cable is the brand’s first braided data cable that features magnetic connectors, offering an uninterrupted magnetic attachment and detachment. It also supports 100W super flash charging (PD MAX), and 10A high-speed power transmission. It also has an automatic cable management feature that minimizes clutter and adds convenience when the PC is idle.

Compatible devices can attach magnetically to the 50W AirVOOC magnetic wireless charger, which is a fan-cooled charging pad that requires no wired connectors. This peripheral offers 50W quick wireless charging and delivers the punch, as timely accessories that match Oppo’s ecosystem. It was first launched in December 2024.

Then there’s Oppo’s 5,000mAh magnetic energy card, a slim, ultra-sleek power bank that attaches magnetically, allowing cable-free charging. With intelligent NTC smart temperature control, it adjusts the power output on its own to avoid overheating and battery damage. At the same time, the technology minimizes heat buildup while charging, an important feature for magnetic fast-charging accessories. The power bank was originally launched in late October 2024.

In terms of availability, the 100W Type-C magnetic cable will go on sale globally on February 20, alongside the Oppo Find N5 foldable. The 50W AirVOOC charger and 5,000mAh power bank, on the other hand, are already being sold in China. The AirVOOC charger will retail for 299 yuan ($41.22), and the power bank will cost 149 yuan ($20.50). With the new accessories, the brand is adding to its arsenal of fast and convenient charging products and potential competition for those who love their wireless and magnetic charging tech.
