OPPO India just raised the bar for mid-range smartphones. The **OPPO F33 Series** — comprising the F33 Pro 5G and F33 5G — launched on April 15, 2026, and it’s arguably the most complete F Series package to date. We’re talking a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, the highest water resistance rating in its segment, a 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and ColorOS 16 with Google Gemini. At this price range, that’s a lot to unpack.

## OPPO F33 Series: Selfie Camera Is the Real Story Here

The F33 Pro 5G sports a **50MP Ultra-Wide front camera with a 100° Field of View** — the widest and highest-resolution selfie camera in its segment. The standout feature is **AI Groupfie Expert**, which automatically switches to 0.6x wide when more than two faces enter the frame. No tapping, no fumbling — it just happens.

A face distortion correction algorithm tracks up to six subjects simultaneously, keeping everyone looking natural even at the edges of that wide 100° frame. The **Colourful Front Fill Light** replaces the harsh white flash with multi-colour, skin-tone-friendly illumination for low-light selfies that actually look good.

The F33 5G steps down to a 16MP front camera — still capable, but the Pro is clearly the selfie champion here.

## Durability That Actually Means Something

The F33 Series carries **IP69K + IP68 + IP66** certification — the highest in its segment. [IP69K](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_code) specifically means it can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — something even flagship phones often skip. Add 7 **MIL-STD-810H** military-grade certifications and an Aerospace-Grade AM04 Alloy frame, and this phone is genuinely built for India’s rough-and-tumble, monsoon-prone real world.

The **Multi-Layer Airbag Cushioning** around internal components acts as micro shock absorbers during drops — a thoughtful engineering detail that most brands don’t talk about.

## Battery & Charging

A **7,000mAh battery** with **80W SUPERVOOC™** charging goes from 0 to 100% in roughly 69 minutes. A quick 5-minute top-up gives you nearly 2 hours of YouTube or Instagram. Both models also support **10W reverse wired charging** and **Bypass Charging** for gaming without stressing the battery.

## ColorOS 16 and Smart Software

ColorOS 16 brings serious AI muscle — **Google Gemini** integration, AI Ultra Clear Document Scanner, AI Recorder with auto-summaries, and **OLock** theft protection that remotely locks down the device and disables NFC when reported lost. The **72-Month Fluency Protection** system promises near-new performance for up to six years — a bold claim that speaks to OPPO’s confidence in the hardware-software combination.

The industry-first **Quick Switch Bar (App Hub)** is a practical touch for field professionals and multitaskers, consolidating essential apps into one always-accessible hub in Outdoor Mode.
