OPPO is set to unveil its latest addition to the F-series lineup, the OPPO F25 Pro 5G, on February 29 in India. Ahead of the official launch, the OPPO F25 Pro micro-site has been activated on major e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and the OPPO Store, providing a glimpse of the device’s design. The upcoming smartphone will boast a 120Hz AMOLED display with a centrally positioned punch-hole notch.
The all-new Oppo F25 Pro 5G
The OPPO F25 Pro boasts a flat-edge design. It will be available in two color options – Ocean Blue and Lava Red. The company has confirmed some features such as a triple camera setup at the back support for 67W SuperVOOC charging and IP65 water and dust resistance.
On the camera setup of the OPPO F25 Pro, you’ll find a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a sensor size of 1/2 inch. Alongside this, there’s an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor that offers wide-angle capabilities with a field of view of 112° and a focal length of 16mm. Additionally, there’s also a 2MP sensor included. For selfies and video calls it comes equipped with a 32MP Sony IMX615 camera featuring an f/2.4 aperture and a focal length of 21mm.
OPPO claims that the F25 Pro will be one of the smartphones in its category to support 4K video recording using both front and rear cameras. The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass for added durability. Notably, security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor since the power button does not include one.
The OPPO F25 Pro 5G will come in two choices – one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and another with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Weighing 177 grams and measuring 7.54mm in thickness this device aims to bring a fresh perspective to the under 25,000 segments of the Indian market anticipated to be priced at approximately ₹25,000. Speculations suggest that the OPPO F25 Pro for the Indian market may be a rebranded version of the OPPO Reno 11F, which recently debuted in several South Asian markets.
