Oppo just introduced its newest mid-range smartphone, the Oppo A78 5G, in Malaysia. The company has now announced that it is available in India. On January 16, 2023, India will officially launch the Oppo A78 5G smartphone. The device’s design, available colours, and launch date have been teased by Amazon on its portal.

The 6.54-inch LCD display on the Oppo A78 5G boasts an HD+ screen resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 269ppi, and a 600nits maximum brightness. A layer of Panda glass protection shields the display. On the screen where the selfie camera is located, there is also a waterdrop notch.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, an efficient 7nm manufacturing technique, which has eight cores, powers the Oppo A78 5G. Up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage are compatible with the chipset.
A 50MP primary sensor and a second monochrome camera are both included in the A78 5G’s dual rear camera configuration. The 8MP front sensor is responsible for taking selfies and for video calls.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, an IPX4 splash rating, 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, and a USB Type-C port, among other notable features.
With a 33W SuperVOOC rapid charging system and a 5000mAh battery, the device is powered. It utilizes the Android 13 OS under the ColorOS 13 skin.
Rumors suggest that the Oppo A78 5G would cost Rs.18,999 in India. Possible configurations include 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Glowing Black and Glowing Blue colour variations for the smartphone are anticipated for the Indian market.
