Oppo launched the A72 5G launched today and has already been spotted in several online retail sites and has also been confirmed by the company. We have seen the 4G variant of this device back in June but only for China. This time also the smartphone is unveiled in China. The phone has 5G connectivity but has compromised in the camera department.

Oppo A72 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate. Now coming to the rear cameras we see a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP black and white camera. There is also a 16MP selfie camera housed in the punch-hole design.
The phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC chipset paired 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It runs on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. The phone is powered by a 4,040mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Oppo A72 5G also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. This phone is pretty much the same as the previous 4G version of the device.
Price and Availability
Oppo A72 5G is priced at CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 20,200) in China and is already available for pre-order in major online retail stores and China’s Oppo website. The phone will be available in Neon, Oxygen Violet, and Simple Black (translated) colour options.
