Oppo A53 may launch soon, specifications leaked

Due to the high demand for mid-range phones in the smartphone market, OPPO might launch a new A-series smartphone dubbed as A53, which is intended to be the successor to the OPPO A52. The Oppo A52 has already launched just a few months ago.

According to a recent article by GSMArena, OPPO A53 might share its name with one of the company’s previously launched phones in 2015.

A list of specifications of this upcoming model has leaked. The model will be launched with Snapdragon 460 SoC. The screen size of the phone will be 6.5 inches with a refresh rate of 90Hz Neo display and users can experience smoother display. It is suspected that this handset will run on OPPO’s ColorOS 7.X on top based on Android 10.

If we enlighten to the camera part, the source discloses that the model will be launched with a triple rear back camera setup with 13MP main shooter flanked by a 2MP macro camera and another 2 MP depth sensor. The 16MP front camera will be housed in a hole-punch cut out on the screen. There will be a rear-mounted physical fingerprint sensor of its backside.

The handset will offer two types of RAM specifications. The probable versions of this model are 4GB with 64GB of storage capacity or 6GB with 128GB storage capacity. The phone will be powered by a 5000mAh of huge battery capacity with a charging speed of 18W.

The Oppo A53 might be another mid-range smartphone that will priorly launch in China then will debut in the international market.
