OnePlus is known for offering premium segment smartphones across the world. Now it has been reported that the company is gearing up for entering the tablet market as well. Earlier leaks had suggested that it would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage on the rumored device.

OnePlus tablet tipped for a 2023 launch

For now, the specifications are unknown for the OnePlus Pad. However, there are some rumored speculations. For example, some have reported that the OnePlus Pad may be a rebranded version of Oppo’s tablets as it’s a parent company of OnePlus.

It is also possible that the OnePlus Pad will be an entirely brand-new device. If that is the case, some features can be expected to bring a high refresh rate display, a new version of OxygenOS designed for large-screen devices, and also support for fast charging.

Coming to the optics, the device is said to offer a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary sensors. The tablet could come with a 10,090mAh battery with a support for 45W fast charging.

According to tipster Max Jambor, the company is working on its Android tablet. Contrary to previous reports claiming that the OnePlus Pad could come by the second half of this year, Jambor says that the phone could launch in 2023.

A separate online report suggests the pricing of the phone. The device could be priced at around Rs 34,500 for the 6GB model. The tablet is expected to be a mid-budget offering for India with an expected starting price of Rs 35,000.
