OnePlus recently introduced the OnePlus Pad Go tablet, which serves as a more affordable successor to the previously launched OnePlus Pad in February this year. The latest tablet from OnePlus features a slightly smaller display compared to the OnePlus Pad, along with reduced resolution, pixel density, refresh rate, and brightness.
In place of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset found in its predecessor, the OnePlus Pad Go utilizes a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and offers 8GB of RAM with storage options of up to 256GB.
The OnePlus Pad Go is positioned as a lightweight, portable tablet focused on delivering a multimedia and streaming experience for extended periods. It is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery and incorporates quad Dolby Atmos speakers to enhance audio performance.
OnePlus Pad Go Pricing and Specs
The OnePlus Pad Go is available in two variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, in both Wi-Fi and LTE-enabled models. The tablet starts at ₹19,999 in India for the Wi-Fi-only 128GB storage variant. The LTE-enabled variant with lower storage is priced at ₹21,999, while the LTE model with 256GB storage is priced at ₹23,999.
The tablet is offered in a single Twin Mint colorway, and pre-orders will commence on October 12 at 12 PM IST. The open sale of the tablet on the OnePlus website will begin in two weeks.
The latest tablet from OnePlus runs on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.2 out-of-the-box and features an 11.35-inch 2.4K (2408 x 1720 pixels) LCD display with a fixed 90Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 220ppi, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and a peak brightness of 400nits.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad Go is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of up to 256GB UFS 2.2. The tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with electronic image stabilization (EIS) support and an 8-megapixel front camera.
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus Pad Go houses an 8,000mAh battery with support for 33W SUPERVOOC charging. OnePlus claims a standby life of 514 hours for the tablet. The tablet also incorporates Omnibearing Sound Field and Dolby Atmos quad speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
It comes with various sensors onboard, including a geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, and a hall sensor, along with a face unlock feature. The tablet has dimensions of 25.512 x 18.804 x 0.689 cm and weighs 532 grams.
