OnePlus is gearing up to launch a slew of products both in China and India, among them the Nord Buds CE will be another budget TWS earbuds after they launched the original Nord Buds a few months back in India. Though OnePlus is never too shy of getting criticized, however, as we said in our review, the Nord Buds was a great option on a budget.
To extend its reach in the heated budget TWS market in India, OnePlus will launch a cut-down version with lots of similarities with the original Nord Buds. Unsurprisingly, chunks of data have already been leaked before its confirmed launch date of August 1st where we expect the Nord Watch to make its way as well.
OnePlus Nord Buds CE Features and Specifications
The new TWS earbuds will sport a fast charging feature that has been a signature feature on all OnePlus phones or earbuds as well. On its launch page, OnePlus India has teased a bunch of features that this Nord Buds CE will bring but @stufflistings has already leaked the entire specs.
From the teased design, the Nord Buds CE could end up looking like the OPPO Enco Air2 Pro, however, the features seem to be improved. Like there will be a bigger 13.4 mm Titanium-coated dynamic driver than a 12.4 mm on the Nord Buds, but such a minute difference doesn’t make much of a difference as we have to see the quality of the sound.
It will again sport the latest Bluetooth 5.2 and OnePlus Fast Pair connectivity options which looks to be enough, however, we could maybe see a cut-down in features like 4 Mic design or high battery life we saw on the Nord Buds to reduce the pricing. Well, the OnePlus Nord Buds retail for ₹2,799, and with an Rs. 250 Instant Discount on credit cards, it effectively retails for ₹2,549.
So, as OnePlus India has teased a price of ₹2×99, we expect it to be ₹2,199 and effectively could be that Rs.2k price segment TWS which people generally tend to buy in India. Well, you won’t have to wait much to know this as this OnePlus Nord Buds CE will be launched in India on 1st August which is just a few days apart.
