OnePlus is preparing for the launch of the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r in India on July 5. The TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds already have a dedicated microsite on both Amazon and the OnePlus India website. These earbuds will serve as a more affordable alternative to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. Recent leaks have revealed the expected price and specifications of the upcoming wireless solution.
All About the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r
According to a report from Pricebaba, citing a reliable tipster, the Nord Buds 2r might have a retail price of Rs 2,299. It’s worth noting that the actual cost at the time of launch may be lower. While it will share similarities with the Nord Buds 2, it is rumored that the 2r model may not include active noise cancellation (ANC). Building up the anticipation, tipster Mukul Sharma shared some specifications of the Nord Buds 2r on Twitter.
The TWS earbuds are expected to feature a 12.4mm audio driver and four microphones for calling purposes. The battery life is anticipated to last up to 38 hours with the charging case. Additionally, it is said to have an IP55 rating for protection against dust and water. The earbuds might also come with three distinct audio profiles to provide variation in music playback.
Furthermore, OnePlus has teased that the Nord Buds 2r will be available in two color options: Deep Gray and Triple Blue. More details about the earphones will be revealed in the upcoming days through the Amazon listing.
In addition to the Nord Buds 2r, the company is also expected to launch two Nord smartphones, namely the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus Nord CE 3. The exact release dates for these phones are currently undisclosed. One of the handsets is rumored to feature an Alert Slider and a Flat Display Design.
