Fans are already looking forward to the arrival of the OnePlus Nord 4. Though the company has not yet confirmed the release of this additional mid-ranger 5G telephone, one recent rumor hints it is going to be released in the following couple of months. According to sources aware of the development, the launch of the OnePlus Nord 4 is scheduled for the third week of July as per Smartprix. Also, there are reports of OnePlus looking to hold an offline event for the launch of the new Nord phone.
The All New OnePlus Nord 4
This fits with earlier leaks that hinted at a OnePlus Nord 4 arriving in the last quarter of next year or sometime after June of 2024. The leak, therefore, offers insight into when the next Nord phone could launch. The OnePlus Nord 4 will likely be a sequel, which means it might not be launching before the month of July (its predecessor, the Nord 3, was unveiled in July of last year).
OnePlus Nord 3 launched in India with a starting price of ₹33,999. There is no price leak for the OnePlus Nord 4 but going by the traditional pricing strategy of OnePlus, do not expect this to exceed ₹35,000. OnePlus 12R, the mid-range premium offering from the company, is also priced at ₹39,999, which further indicates a large price between the two devices. The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to start around ₹30,000 up to ₹35,000.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 released in April was priced below ₹30,000, so it doesn’t seem likely that the Nord 4 will cost below the ₹30,000 mark. The original OnePlus Nord was launched in 2020 at ₹24,999 and since then, the pricing of the Nord series has seen a slow rise. Later models were pricier and the third-gen Nord still sells for ₹33,999.
The OnePlus Nord series is aimed at buyers looking to spend a tad bit more than ₹35,000 for better features and experiences OnePlus range of devices and at the ₹40,000 segment, we have the R series from OnePlus. It remains to be seen whether the OnePlus Nord 4 can justify its price tag and entice users, given the competitive options available in the market, such as the iQOO Neo 9 Pro and Poco F6.
