Global technology brand OnePlus has announced the third edition of its nationwide collegiate esports initiative, Campus Dominate 2026. The program aims to identify and promote emerging esports talent across Indian universities, building on the company’s established presence in the mobile gaming sector.

Campus Dominate 2026 is set to travel across 16 universities in eight cities over the next two months, culminating in a Grand LAN Finale in New Delhi. The tournament features a ₹10 lakh (INR 10L) prize pool for participating teams.

## OnePlus Tournament Details and Scale

The initiative centers on a 4v4 BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) tournament. College teams will compete in on-ground qualifiers at their respective campuses, with winning teams from each of the 16 universities advancing to the Grand LAN Finale. All competitive matches, from campus qualifiers to the Grand Finale, will be played exclusively on the OnePlus Nord 6 device.

OnePlus projects engagement with over 100,000 students and 50+ creators throughout the program. The expanded scale for 2026 follows the previous edition, Campus Dominate ’25, which saw participation from over 12,000 students and served as a launchpad for teams like Nebula Esports.

Ishita Grover, Director of Marketing at OnePlus India, stated that gaming has emerged as a significant passion point for Gen Z. She highlighted the company’s objective to create a platform that brings esports directly to students, fostering campus engagement and offering emerging talent opportunities to showcase their skills.

## On-Ground Engagement and Roadshow

The Campus Dominate 2026 roadshow commenced on June 29th at G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management in Pune, engaging over 3,500 students. The roadshow will continue through Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, New Delhi, and Noida.

Central to the on-campus experience is the “OnePlus Gaming Truck,” designed to provide interactive activities. These include dedicated OnePlus Nord experience zones, creator meet-and-greets, gaming challenges, quiz competitions, and merchandise giveaways. The program also features “Creator Lobby” competitions for campus creators to compete for recognition and prizes like the OnePlus Nord 6.

## Strengthening Grassroots Esports

OnePlus positions Campus Dominate 2026 as an effort to strengthen grassroots esports in India. By providing structured competitive opportunities at the collegiate level, the initiative aims to enable young gamers to compete, gain exposure, and build pathways into the country’s professional gaming ecosystem.
