Foldable phones have been around for a long time now, however, they are becoming more popular than ever now. Many brands are launching their own versions of foldable devices, as per a new report, [OnePlus](https://technosports.co.in/?s=OnePlus)will also be one of the companies joining this list as the company plans to launch its first foldable device.

## OnePlus foldable will be similar to the Galaxy Z Flip3:

For now, it is a mystery as to what design the upcoming device will carry. There have been multiple rumors that OnePlus will be launching at least one model that is similar to the [Oppo Find N](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Oppo+Find+N).

The Find N features a vertical hinge that is similar to the [Galaxy Z Fold3](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Galaxy+Z+Fold3), it features a primary display that folds inwards along with a secondary external display. The brand could launch a smaller and more affordable version of the [Galaxy Z Flip3](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Galaxy+Z+Flip3)that has a clamshell folding design.

There is a tri-fold design that is usually seen in Samsung patents, however, this is unlikely to make its way with the first wave of OnePlus foldable devices.

Recently [Oppo](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Oppo), [Vivo](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Vivo), and [Xiaom](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Xiaomi)[i](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Xiaomi) have launched their own iterations of devices along with flexible displays. These phones are restricted to China and are yet to be launched worldwide. This means that OnePlus has a shot at gaining a significant amount of market share in this market globally.
