The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds have a flat casing construction and a similar appearance to earlier OnePlus earbud models. For a snug fit, the latter has an angled ear tip and a short stalk.
The OnePlus 11 will support spatial audio, and the Buds Pro 2 will also support it with head tracking. LHDC 4.0 audio codec is supported by earphones to render lossless high-resolution audio. They also feature a new MelodyBoost twin driver system, developed in collaboration with Dynaudio, that consists of 11mm + 6mm audio drivers.
It has up to 48dB of active noise cancellation, which can be customized using a companion app to fit listening habits and surroundings, and it has a built-in Transparency Mode.
In addition, the earbuds have a Dynaudio equalizer with three more customization options to meet individual audio signature preferences in addition to the default setting.
The earphones state that they can provide up to 25 hours of playback duration with ANC and up to 39 hours without ANC (active noise cancellation). They also have rapid charging capabilities, with a 10-minute charge providing three hours of audio playback. The TWS earbuds feature 54ms low latency connectivity using the latest Bluetooth standard and support Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Fast Pair to connect with two devices without a hitch. The earbuds have an IP55 rating.
