OnePlus Ace 5 Series To Launch in China on December 26

OnePlus is preparing to release the Ace 5 series shortly in China, which will comprise two models, i.e. Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets will likely power both of these phones.

OnePlus has also teased the series, but there is currently no announcement on the date. However, a screenshot from a Chinese tech blogger reveals Ace 5 series already open for reservation in China, which is due at 14:30 on December 26. Implies the Ace 5 series may arrive on December 26.

OnePlus Ace 5 Series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 100W Charging Expected to Launch in China on December 26

The Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will get a 6.78-inch flat BOE X2 OLED display that resolves at 1.5K and has a 120Hz refresh rate. It will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6,415mAh battery, and 80W fast charging, while the Ace 5 Pro will carry the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 6,100mAh battery, and 100W charging support. Both the models will come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

When it comes to cameras, the pair is set to carry the identical configuration, including a 50-megapixel main shooter with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel unit. There are rumors that the Ace 5 Pro will feature a Sony IMX906 primary sensor, which may not be available on the regular Ace 5 model. The front camera details are also yet to be confirmed. The Ace 5 series will also include a middle frame made of metal, a short-focus fingerprint scanner, and an alert slider.

Similar to the OnePlus 13, the Ace 5 series should come running ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15. The Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will come in multiple configurations including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, similar to their counterparts ordered by the Redmi K80 series, iQOO Neo 10 series and Realme Neo 7. The phones will be offered with two ceramic color choices: White Moon Porcelain and Sky Blue Porcelain.
