OnePlus is reportedly preparing to expand its Ace smartphone lineup with two new models — the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and the Ace 5 Supreme Edition. These new phones should eventually replace the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and OnePlus Ace 5. As per leaks, the two new models are tipped to come with MediaTek Dimensity SoCs.

OnePlus Ace 5 Racing and Supreme Editions to Launch Soon with Dimensity 9400e, 9400+ SoCs
The upcoming Ace 5 series phone will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor, which is believed to be an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300+, made using TSMC’s 4nm process, according to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. As per Leaks, the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is said to come with a 6.77-inch OLED LTPS flat display and a dual camera system on the rear that features a 50-megapixel main sensor.
It will also feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and a huge 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Aimed at gamers, the device could integrate the Fengchi gaming kernel and is rumored to outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in terms of performance. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition is expected to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. Both smartphones are anticipated to debut in China sometime in May.
Previously, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro was launched with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition, while the Ace 5 featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The current Ace 5 series devices were introduced in China in December 2024, priced starting at CNY 2,299 (around ₹26,000). They feature up to 16GB RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution, along with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel sensor. With the Racing and Supreme Editions, OnePlus aims to push performance boundaries even further for smartphone users.
