The OnePlus Ace series has expanded this year with the debut of the OnePlus Ace 3 and Ace 3V. The lineup isn’t going to end there, though; some rumors suggested OnePlus might be planning to release a Pro variant called the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, taking over for last year’s Chinese release Ace 2 Pro.
The new device appears to have been leaked in the weeks leading up to its release, revealing the possible design and some essential features.
The Upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 Pro
One of a kind of design is that the Ace 3 Pro would have a chrome finish on the front and a metal middle frame on the top with a glass back. It will be the first OnePlus flagship to include curved edges on the front. The leak did reveal that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro could arrive with a 1.5K OLED display, but there is no news on the size. Previous rumors suggested that the phone could use an 8T LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset would run the show, with an Adreno GPU. The phone might come with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and one of the leaks suggested a 24GB LPDDR5x RAM variant. As for cameras, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro leak revealed a 50MP sensor. The main camera might have a Sony IMX89 0 sensor, and the leak did not exactly state the other sensors.
Previous reports hinted at a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery with 100W fast charging support for the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. Given the limited release of its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, in China, it’s likely that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro could follow a similar distribution pattern. More details about the device are expected to emerge in the coming days, with its debut anticipated around the same time as its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
