We are not forgetting something after the OnePlus 9 series, isn’t it? Like we were expecting another device after the launch of the OnePlus 8 series last year and got that after few months. Yes, we are talking about the special edition of the OnePlus 9 series, the OnePlus 9T. The OnePlus 9 series had the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, both featuring the flagship Snapdragon 888, which was launched last month in India, and not it seems to be the perfect time to talk about another addition in the series.
OnePlus’ T model of the series is specially focused on performance at a lower cost. Now a recent leak claims that OnePlus is being in talks with Samsung for a new kind of display for its upcoming OnePlus 9T. Reportedly OnePlus has asked Samsung to customize a E4 flexible display screen with resolution of 1080p. The company has also demanded for a LTPO technology, which is same as the OnePlus 9 Pro, and with the support of hardware-level dynamic refresh rate.
The above leak has been shared by a trusted source. The source is hoping it to be the OnePlus 9T, but we are not totally sure about the name of the smartphone on which OnePlus will be equipping the Samsung’s E4 display with LTPO technology.
For your information, the OnePlus 9 Pro sports a huge 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC and has 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Hasselblad cameras are out of the ordinary on the device.
